The Appliance fire protection system from Advanced Aircraft Extinguishers, Ltd detects smoke from a small smoldering fire inside the affected containment area and automatically discharges a non-toxic extinguishing agent to quickly flood the containment area, extinguishing or suppressing the fire. At the same time, it triggers the affected containment area’s “built-in” smoke detectors, providing a faster alert to emergency personnel.
The single appliance, or a connected series of them, will alert the monitoring stations, and the design of the system can provide an open, safe escape path to anyone who happens to be inside of the containment area.
